The SC-600 IW (In-Wall) subwoofer fits flush in a standard 2×4 studded wall and incorporates a sealed cabinet (no need for a separate back-box), for easy retrofit or new construction installation. It delivers tight, dynamic bass for music and home theater. A unique triple vector design, with twin active 6.5″ long-throw drivers and twin custom passive radiators firing at 45 degree angles to the drivers, maximizes excursion within the wall cavity, reducing wall vibration by 50% vs. other in-wall subs.
The Companion SC-600 amplifier is a 400-watt dynamic, 200-watt RMS, rack-mountable amplifier. This proven, reliable A/B design is very musical sounding, with superior headroom for clean, powerful bass. It includes a remote control with four bass presets to customize your movie or music listening. These can be programmed in your remote Macro to correspond to Audio or Video sources. Using the remote control’s “EQ” button, the internal signal generator’s tones are digitally analyzed by DSP, and the 5-band equalizer is automatically adjusted for the best bass performance, regardless of subwoofer placement. Multiple woofers can be driven by a single amplifier.
