The living room and dining room have an open floor plan to each other. This room is perfect for dinner parties and entertaining while friends and family are in town. The two speakers in the dining room create an ambiance for your guest, no matter the occasion.
While walking towards the kitchen, you will notice the functional layout of the home. With the custom two speakers in the kitchen and the full surround sound system in the living room, you have all the entertainment you need. The in-ceiling speaker package creates a quality sound with a super clean look. These speakers, combined with the extremely thin LED flat panel mounted perfectly to the wall, show that nothing impedes with the design and décor of the living space.
Outdoor speakers are a must! We all know the Chicago weather can be unpredictable so when it is nice out, we have to enjoy the weather. With a total of six outdoor speakers – two on the garage roof and four on the back patio – this system delivers a consistant sound for all listening conditions. Grilling, Entertaining, Gardening? It doesn’t matter. You can have tunes for everything.
To the Basement We Go:
During the winter months, everyone needs a great place to kick back by the fireplace and watch a good movie. This basement delivers comfort and relaxation with the Samsung 55” LED and full surround sound system. This is a movie lovers dream. There are 5 directional in-ceiling speakers and hidden subwoofer that make this room into a man cave.
Thirsty? Grab a drink from the full bar, but never miss any of the action with the two speakers above you. This home really is perfect.

From the main g! page, you can navigate the entire home system from the touch of a finger. Whether you want to arm or disarm your security, turn off the lighting in the home, or turn on your favorite show, it is as easy as one, two, three.
Select your home page and check out the front door camera. Maybe you are looking for the weather forcast or current weather conditions. Here they are! Maybe you are leaving for the day? Just press your Away mode and watch the home transform. All lights turn off, all music stops, the TVs shut down, and you are ready to leave.
Lighting controls are the best way to show the quality of your home and reduce your energy costs. With the 12 pre-programmed scenes combined with the outdoor lights, the switches in this home run themselves. No matter the occasion or mood, you have a lighting scene custom to your home.
Interesting fact: if you dim a light bulb 10% it doubles the life of the bulb and reduces your energy costs by 10%. Plus your eyes can’t even see a difference. The lighting control system is a must and really makes living in this home a dream. Lutron Radio RA delivers!

Select Media from your home page! Choose the room you want to control. I chose the kitchen.
So what do you want to listen to? You have the ability to listen to two different Comcast boxes, Blu-Ray, XM, FM, Pandora, or your iPod. Let’s select cable.
From here, you can change the channels on your cable box, select a recording, or volume up and down any zone in the home. The ease of use and performance of this system is awesome.
Where are the cable boxes and equipment located?
Everything is racked out of the way in this custom Middle Atlantic racking system in the furnace room, so you never have to worry about storing or housing the equipment. The rack gives the installer full functionality of this system!
The Elan g! system has delivered technology to this beautifully decorated home and gives the home owner full control whether traveling or at the office. With custom programmed remotes and lighting controls, the house virtually runs itself, so all you have to worry about is living your dream.

Hooked Up Installs provided us with a Whole House Automation system that includes audio, video, security and lighting. Brent and his team were very professional and paid great attention to detail during the entire process from design to install. Brent has always been helpful as we continue to add new features and automation. Our surround sound systems are awesome and the lighting scenes really set the ambiance in our new home. Our first real test of the system came on vacation when showing the iPhone integration to family members. We noticed from the front porch camera that UPS had delivered a lot of our new furniture and we would not be home for a week. Concerned, we called friends to move it to our garage. We were able to remotely disable the alarm, turn on lights, open the garage and reset the alarm for our friends to move the packages. What a cool system!
